Job Overview

The Business Analyst plays a crucial role in contributing to and driving the development of corporate and product strategies, facilitating evidence-based decision making. The position will support opportunity assessments performing frequent pipeline asset unit forecasting, provide input to innovation and product development based on market analytics and competitive intelligence, customer account planning, company targeting activities as well as other strategic initiatives. The Business Analyst will be responsible for conducting advanced analytics using various internal and external data sources. 
This position reports to the Head of Intelligence & Insights and will require extensive cross-functional collaboration.

Main Responsibilities

•    Analyze secondary databases and other online resources to track drugs in development and industry trends, independently generating business intelligence from various data sources.
•    Monitor global competitor activities to identify potential opportunities and threats.
•    Lead and execute both inline and pipeline forecasts in collaboration with Business Development and the Global S&OP organization.
•    Develop dynamic Power BI reports and dashboards that effectively summarize complex data sets, tailored to client needs.
•    Build and maintain scalable data models to support robust and adaptable reporting solutions.
•    Contribute to the development of a global business intelligence platform, advancing analytics and enabling data-driven decision-making.

Minimum Requirements

•    Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in data analytics. 
•    Expert knowledge in capturing relevant information systematically, analyzing statistical data and identifying key issues patterns and trends.
•    Proven international experience with a very good knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry globally as well as an awareness of medical trends and market factors influencing trends in the pharma/biotech industry. 
•    Strong communication, interpersonal, intercultural, and networking skills and able to work across multiple functions and levels in the organization.
•    Global pharma pipeline and inline forecasting experience
•    Language: Fluent in English 

Preferred Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics, statistics, math, business, or related field
