Project Manager

Location: Nacka Strand, Sweden

Job Overview

The Project Manager reports to the Head of Project Management in Design Office Sweden and is part of the technical organization within SHL Medical, together with a project management team consisting of 10 persons and global stakeholders.

The Project Manager is in charge for the successful project execution in time, cost and quality of projects within SHL Medical. The jobholder will hold end-to-end responsibility for an assigned project from project intake/project planning to end of validation/ handover to production. The Project Manager will manage teams from cross-functional disciplines to ensure, that project requirements, deadlines, schedules and budget are managed within the set project goals. Overall responsibilities are planning, budget management, resource allocation as well as risk management and project team leadership.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain customer relation and communication regarding project(s)
  • Establish, manage and follow up project activities according to the quality management system at SHL
  • Monitor and oversee project budget(s)
  • Establish and maintain communication within the SHL project team(s) and related stakeholders
  • Contribute to related activities within the functional team
  • Contribute to the implementation of agreed processes in the organisation to support change management behaviour
  • Complete any other tasks related to the position
  • Ensure project specifics are met in terms of scope, quality, timeline and budget

 

Skills and Qualification

 

Must-haves:

  • Engineering Degree or any other relevant degree
  • 3+ years of relevant experience from development and production of a tangible product, preferably medical device
  • Fluent in English (speech and writing)
  • Relevant experience from project management in global, parallel projects
  • Product development PM role Experience with quality management systems
  • Ability and desire to fulfil our customers need within quality, punctuality and timelines
  • Demonstrated solution-oriented mindset and cooperation skills
  • Planning and organizational skills and ability to prioritize ‘Ability to show initiative, work independently with strong drive to deliver and steer cross-functional and global project teams

 

Desired:

  • Experience in medical device industry
  • Experience working in a lead position: overall accountability for projects.
