In the latest issue of ONdrug Delivery, SHL Medical Head of Continuous Improvement Tracy Pedreso explains how championing lean manufacturing and business excellence can maximize lasting value for pharmaceutical companies and their patients.

Pedreso argues that in order for Continuous Improvement (CI) programs to be sustainable, lean mindsets and processes should be cultivated across the organization. Further, he explains that CI-building initiatives should be viewed as positive changes, and in turn, these positive changes are what allow SHL to continuously redefine operational excellence in the MedTech industry and exceed pharma’s expectations. To further exemplify the advantages of CI and lean manufacturing, Pedreso details how these CI initiatives have been applied across SHL’s business operations.
