The position of the Director Regulatory for Combination Product, Medical Devices and Emerging Technologies is based in the HQ of SHL Medical AG in Zug. It holds overall responsibility for Regulatory matters related to combination products, medical devices and emerging technologies. The holder is responsible for establishing applicable regulations in SHL entities. pertaining to all the markets currently being served by SHL on the assigned responsibility area. She/he is the lead regulatory affairs function for the respective regulatory affairs sites. He/ she and bears responsibility for the regulatory affairs activities, budget and personnel. Actively provides guidance to multiple departments and sites regarding Regulatory procedures and activities, including applicable Agency policies and regulations as well as regulatory affairs related customer relationships. Job holder is directly involved in the establishment of the product regulatory strategy and responsible for building regulatory services for SHL customer withing SHL responsibility and for the registration process including the entire product where needed and required by the customers. She/ He is owning the corporate procedures, submissions. Follows up on regulatory affairs activities, like regulatory intelligence to ensure that the organization is adequately informed about new and current relevant standards, regulations, licenses and certifications.

The Senior Program Manager Quality will play a vital role in the Quality organization and will lead an organizational development program of high complexity, team size, and responsibility. The program consists of a project portfolio of multiple transformation projects whereas the (Senior) Program Manager utilizes advanced program management techniques to achieve the business goals. The Senior Program Manager has a deep technical and commercial understanding to provide direction and leadership to cross-functional teams in the development of the organization to achieve legal manufacturer capabilities for medical devices. The Senior Program Manager at SHL accomplishes results through delegation of responsibilities to Project Managers, workstream leaders and task owners but serves at the same time as mentor in technical and commercial questions. The Senior Program Manager is responsible to ensure that the program is managed according to SHL’s program and project management standards. and is providing a consistently high standard of project performance to the internal key stakeholders. In the interactions the Senior Program Manager will assume a central role as key interface and first escalation level.

The intellectual property (IP) Paralegal supports the IP Team by handling various patents, industrial designs, trademarks, copyrights, and general IP prosecution matters including application appeals, oppositions, and invalidations. A person in this role will conduct IP administrative work, provide status reports to the IP Director, IP Managers, and IP staff, track progress, and communicate with internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis.

The HRIS Expert will report into the Head of People Technology and Processes and will play a pivotal role in managing the lifecycle of HRIS platforms. This includes overseeing system maintenance, analyzing new releases, and driving product roadmap management. The Senior Specialist in Regional Communications, you are responsible for internal and external communications, public relations, and internal/external events at SHL within the specified region. The Senior Specialist in Regional Communications will create and nurture a positive public image and reputation of SHL and represent our interests through interacting with key stakeholders. The role requires a limited willingness to travel.

The Process Quality Engineer (PQE) is responsible for supporting new process development, automation equipment development and product transfer by applying quality engineering skills in compliance with medical devices industry standards and regulations. Sr PQE will handle projects and tasks, from product/process inception through product launch, scale-up, deployment, and retrofit projects. The Process QE will also be key in ensuring that Customer Requirement, Quality & Compliance requirements are constantly met including, but not limited to FDA Quality System Regulation 21 CFR Part 820, 21 CFR Part11, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, and applicable technical standards.

The Senior SAP Specialist EAM / PP at SHL will facilitate and support the SAP Enterprise Assent Management and Production Planning solutions, as well as surrounded application to enable the relevant business processes to enhance our business functionality. The Firmware Engineer is a member of our Emerging Technology Development Team. In this position you develop the firmware/software of electro-mechanical drug delivery devices and take ownership for the end-to-end implementation as well as their integration with our cloud services. You ensure the consistency and quality of the solution within your work and when working with internal developers and external resources.

The Senior Design Engineer develops mechanical and electro-mechanical drug delivery devices for mass production in a quality management system compliant to US FDA QSR sub-system structure and ISO 13485 clauses. The Senior Design Engineer collaborates closely with systems engineers, project managers and subject matter experts from adjacent departments like process development, testing & simulation and quality. The scope of the development spans from ideation, over preliminary design, design implementation to design verification. Important aspects are innovation, requirements engineering, subsystem analysis and architecture, concept development and selection, design analysis, design for manufacturing and assembly and product specification.

The Risk Leader is responsible for reviewing risk management-related topics within Design and Development Projects and participates in the development, implementation, and administration of SHL’s risk management processes. This is a Switzerland - based role that will work across the global organization and collaborate with stakeholders.
