In this role, you can

(a) Be quality engineering role to take care of supplier related topics;

(b) Drive supplier quality performance

(c)  Ensure supplied product/service compliance to established requirements; 

 

This is a Taiwan-based role that will work across the global organization and collaborate with stakeholders, internal/external Subject Matter Experts.

 

You are responsible for

  • Interface with suppliers for quality engineering team's established critical-to-quality, acceptance criteria and testing requirements
  • To assist both sourcing and SMEs to assess supplier capability for necessary material, product and services
  • Visit supplier’s facilities and observe the manufacturing environment to review and assess their procedures.
  • Performing quality system audits 
  • Co-ordinate incoming tests and assessment on outsourced material and purchased component to verify quality requirements are met
  • Maintaining detailed reports on supplier quality, rejects, non-conformities and SCAR
  • Providing technical advice and guidance to suppliers for area of improvements
  • Follow up Supplier Quality Agreement established by QMS team
  • Execute supplier related activities according to supplier management procedure
  • Perform periodic supplier evaluation.
  • Carry out other duties as assigned.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, science, or other related science is required
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in supplier quality management 
  • Familiar with ISO 9001 or ISO 13485 and ISO 14971 is advantage
  • Good working knowledge of quality control standards
  • Collaborative relationships to support long-term partnerships and quality improvement with suppliers 
  • Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
