Facility Custodian Supervisor

Reporting to:  Manager, Facility & Building Services

Shift: Nights, 7pm-7am (2/2/3 shift model)

Job Overview
The Night Shift Custodian Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all custodial operations during the overnight hours in a high-precision, regulated medical device manufacturing facility. This role ensures that all production and support areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in compliance with industry regulations (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485, GMP). The supervisor leads a team of custodians, coordinates cleaning schedules, manages supply inventory, and supports the overall environmental integrity of the facility.

Main Responsibilities

•    Performs environmental cleanliness inspections. 
•    Detail Cleans manufacturing areas: Production floors, warehouse, offices, and grounds. 
•    Coordinates cleaning projects and tasks 
•    Assigns employee duties/responsibilities 
•    Maintains excellent floor care and sanitization on the GMP/Production floor  
•    Verifies cleaning/quality documentation in EAM system 
•    Enhance facility aesthetics by detailing cleaning and creating goals and projects 
•    Works with contractors on facility projects 
•    Delegating cleaning tasks/ projects to custodian employees 
•    Tracks employee performance and sets goals for teammates 
•    Develops Partnerships with Company stakeholders to achieve success. 
•    Strong background in Custodian leadership cleaning medical facilities and/or manufacturing plants 
•    Focus on employee safety and partners with EHS dept. leaders 
•    Must have an eye for detail, aesthetics/branding, and design.
•    Contributes to the overall success of the company and meets strict deadlines as required.   
•    Ability to drive a forklift or obtain certification after hire 
•    Supervisory Responsibilities: Manages a team of 2 or more facility custodians.

Skills and Qualification

•    Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a custodian supervisor or facility supervisor in a medical facility and/or manufacturing factory. 
•    Basic Computer Skills and ability to use a tablet  
•    Strong knowledge of custodial techniques, cleaning agents, and industrial sanitation standards.
•    Ability to read and interpret SOPs, safety data sheets (SDS), and regulatory guidelines.
