【Job Overview】
The Financial Analyst is working under FBP (Finance Business Partner) structure and supports Operations in Product costing mainly in manufacturing cost area. Responsibilities will cover maintaining most updated and trusted product standard cost and timely reporting and analysis on SHL TW product costs to support business decision-making. Ad hoc analysis to assist management in identifying cost improvement opportunities in process and procedures optimization within the organization.
【Main Responsibilities】
• Master Data:
- Work with Operations to manage BOM Scrap % and Routing Cycle time accuracy.
- Maintain GL account changes and Expense type definition in local reporting.
- Update Cost Center and request to AG, sequentially maintain Cost Center Group definition and with HR Dept. ID and Work Center relationship.
- Maintain info record for intercompany SOPO transaction and sample Material price quotation.
- Run New product STD cost calculation.
• Month End Closing
- Review Expense to understand variance and assure proper expense accrual.
- Involve SAP closing flow, check settlement rule, prepare support in/out booking and update allocation assessment cycle. The end goal could be able to exercise the closing independently.
• Reporting:
- Prepare monthly inventory movement and ending inventory report.
- Prepare and support LCM report, Aging report, Inventory Provision report.
- Prepare and support Bank and Government required financial information and Survey.
- Support COGS Variance reporting and Analysis and improvement opportunity to Variance cost control.
• Involve budget Planning till final cost calculation and issuance of new standard cost. Job covers BOM/Routing master data and activity rate update to SAP.
• Support PWC audit PBC requirement.
• Coordinate Quarter and Annual Physical Inventory count.
• Provide inventory and rolling report to SCD and expense detail report to MF.
• Support Operations question and solution-oriented discussion.
• Support intercompany in Advantec, AG, US operation needs.
【Required Skills & Qualifications】
• 3+ years of finance experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment
• University or Master degree in Accounting or Finance or similar
• Above average in English both written and spoken
• Familiar with SAP or other large ERP system
• Strong problem solving and communication skills
• Advanced skills in Excel, experience working with big data sets; Power BI skill is preferred
• Experienced in Manufacturing cost analysis
• Solid analytical skills with high attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Positive, “can-do” attitude
• Strong team player with strong communication and presentation skills.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic and changing environment.
