Job Overview

The Global Simulation Department, under the umbrella of CTO organization, provides simulation technology capability to ensure feasibility, quality and robustness of our products. ​As part of the Global Simulation team, you will closely collaborate with simulation, design, testing and process experts based across our global sites in Switzerland, Sweden, Taiwan and US to develop and improve our injection moulding simulation capabilities.

 

Main Responsibilities

Responsibilities entail one or more of the following:

  • Injection moulding simulation model building
  • Executing simulations to advise product and tool designers
  • Material properties characterization and modelling
  • Models verification, developing simulation standards and delivering training to other colleagues and stakeholders

 

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Student in Engineering, Applied Sciences or other equivalent education 
  • Experience or interest in one or more of the following fields: 
    • Injection Molding Simulation model building
    • Simulations to advice product and tool designers
    • Material properties characterization and modelling (Polymers and Rubbers) 
    • Test and validation activities
  • Strong theoretical and understanding of injection molding process and mechanics of materials
  • Experience with injection molding software such as Moldex3D, Moldflow, or similar
  • Strong intercultural and interdisciplinary communication skills in English (spoken/written)

  • Interest in technologies related to advanced high-volume manufacturing
  • Independent thinker who is willing to discover new solutions off the beaten tracks
  • Positive, curious, diligent, reliable and target oriented team player
