Job Overview 

 

The Product Manager is the glue between the business side and technical side of an organization. She/he has a deep understanding what technology is required to meet the business requirements and how to successfully bring a product to life and manage it through its entire commercial life cycle. To reach this goal the product manager works closely with innovation, design and engineering teams on product features and capabilities.

 

 

 

Main Responsibilities

 

  • Maintain the product technical requirements based on customer feedback, regulatory requirements, market trends and business needs
  • Accept hand-over from project management following completion of development
  • Manage existing product/ platform throughout the whole life cycle (including platform life cycle plan and accountability to maintain product records in a fully digitalized environment)
  • Support product management organization with best practice in applying product lifecycle managment tools
  • Lead cross-function life cycle team and own the platform life cycle backlog
  • Support business development and account management in the selection of technical solutions for quotations based on customer needs and the performance space of the offering.
  • Work closely with internal cross functional teams, including product development, commercial, sustainability, quality and operations so that product requirements are fully understood and that implementation plans match expectations.
  • Facilitate creation and maintenance of proper product documentation (product configuration).
  • Coordinate product launch plan with marketing, sales, and development teams.
  • Provide internal and customer training on how to use the product and answer incoming questions about the product and its specifications.
  • Monitor and study competitors’ products.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies.
 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • 2-5  years of product and/or project management experience, ideally in the healthcare industry.
  • Ability to coordinate all product related activities with cross-functional teams that include innovation, design, engineering, sales and marketing.
  • Abilit to manage a variety of topics in parallel
Preferred Qualifications 
  • Technical / engineering background is plus
  • Ideally experience and affinity to product lifecycle management tools

 

Language Skills

  • Must have: English and Mandarin
