Job Overview
The Senior Marketing Specialist is responsible for delivering compelling marketing campaigns and events that increase mall traffic and customer engagement. Implementing the marketing strategy defined by the line manager, overseeing and collaborating with the Comms Marketing team. To act as an interface between the other sections and departments and marketing communication channels. To build brand equity and brand awareness through marketing campaigns. The senior Marketing Specialist will also take on a role as the Campaign and Change Management Lead, supporting major projects, including Strategy 2030+, the Customer Engagement Model, and leading content creation for activating our corporate brand through a project called Brand Activation.
Main Responsibilities
Marketing Campaign Management
- Plan, develop, and execute integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels (digital, print, events, social media, etc.).
- Coordinate and collaborate with internal stakeholders, creative teams, and external vendors to ensure timely and high-quality campaign delivery.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance using KPIs and metrics to optimize results and ROI.
- Coordinate multi-channel campaigns by integrating digital (ads, web, email) and physical (conferences, events) initiatives.
- Ensure timely resource allocation, campaign planning, execution, and performance tracking via tools such as ClickUp.
- Manage campaign budgets, timelines, and reporting.
Content Development & Company Brand Management
- Develop marketing content, including emails, website copy, social media posts, white papers, and case studies.
- Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and messaging frameworks.
- Support company brand positioning (such Brand activation) efforts to enhance awareness and market presence.
- Lead the creation, standardization, and continuous improvement of corporate, marketing, and sales materials.
- Ensuring all content reflects SHL Medical’s brand identity, messaging strategy, and global sales objectives.
- Establish and manage sustainable content lifecycle processes for the development, distribution, and maintenance of materials.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to gather feedback and drive ongoing optimization of messaging and tools.
Digital Marketing & Analytics
- Support SEO, SEM, and email marketing strategies.
- Analyze web traffic and engagement metrics using tools such as Google Analytics, Salesforce and Pardot, or similar platforms.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on campaign and channel performance data.
- Experience in executing digital marketing campaigns on Google, LinkedIn, and related channels.
Cross - Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with other teams in SHL’s Communication and Marketing department, other departments in SHL Medical Growth function, such as Business Development, Account management, Commercial Excellence, Corporate Development, Portfolio Strategy and Customer solutions as well as other departments such as Product Management, Sales, and Communications teams to align messaging and campaigns with go-to-market strategies.
- Ensure consistent communication and marketing materials across internal and external platforms.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in B2B or B2C marketing, preferably in a senior or specialist-level role.
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
- Proficiency in marketing tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Adobe Creative Suite, and marketing automation platforms.
- Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills, with proven ability to initiate and drive global and cross-functional projects in international matrix organizations.
- Experience with data analysis and campaign reporting tools.
- Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and content marketing best practices.
- Proven experience in digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media.
- Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy, and best practices.
- Commitment to continuous learning and adapting in a fast-paced, global digital landscape.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree a plus).
- Skilled in B2B digital marketing channels, including LinkedIn and Google Ads.
- Experience in branding activation and management is an asset.
- German language skills are advantageous.
