Warehouse Manager

Location: Charleston, South Carolina, US

Reporting to: Sr. Supply Chain Manager

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced warehouse supervisor to manage and oversee all warehouse activities, ensure efficient processes, and maximize warehouse productivity. The warehouse supervisor’s responsibilities include supervising employees, coordinating logistical processes, ensuring the quality of goods, and preparing relevant documentation.

Main Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and internal/external customer service
  • Schedule and oversee warehouse team, and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime
  • Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance when necessary
  • Meet regularly with warehouse supervisors and leads to analyze productivity and develop actionable plans for loss prevention
  • Oversee and manage logistics for transporting products to customers and company facilities, communicating with drivers and air partners to ensure efficient delivery of materials and equipment
  • Set warehouse and team goals in collaboration with all levels of management
  • Establish warehouse practices and protocols to achieve an efficient warehouse

Skills and Qualification

  • Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field (Required)
  • Experience in a regulated industry (Preferred) Medical device, Pharma, Biotech etc.
  • Experience working with ERP programs (SAP Strongly Preferred)
  • Exceptional time management and organization skills
  • Must have strong communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability in developing effective long-term strategies to support business plans
  • Strong ability to work cross functional
  • Strong Project Management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, word processing and excel
  • Problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent leadership skills, including the abilities to set goals, motivate and manage conflict
