SHL Medical to share insights on LVSC autoinjector at PDA Miniverse

SHL Medical will participate in the 2025 PDA Miniverse: Medical Devices, Combination Products and Connected Health Conference, where we will contribute to the ongoing dialogue on large-volume subcutaneous (LVSC) self-injection and showcase our autoinjector technologies at our booth.

On June 26 at 11:10 AM EDT, Gary Calderwood, Senior Product Manager at SHL Medical, will take the stage to share insights in a session titled, “Unlocking the LVSC Autoinjector Market Through Pre-Establishing Supply Chain Partnerships”.

In his presentation, Gary will explore how the growing shift toward at-home, patient-administered therapies is driving new expectations for large-volume autoinjector combination products. Using Maggie^® 5.0 autoinjector as a reference, he will highlight the value of early partnerships to help pharma and biotech companies manage development risks and accelerate time to market.

The talk will touch on how SHL Medical has collaborated with industry partners such as SCHOTT Pharma, Dätwyler, and Grand River Aseptic Manufacturing, to establish an integrated supply chain around the Maggie 5.0 autoinjector. This includes glass cartridge technology, stopper and seal systems, and fill-finish services.

Beyond the presentation, our booth will feature a broad range of device technologies for subcutaneous self-injection.
