SHL Medical strengthens US presence with debut at PFS and IDD West Coast

SHL Medical will make our first appearance at the 2025 Pre-filled Syringes (PFS) and Injectable Drug Devices (IDD) West Coast conference, taking place from June 9–10 at the San Diego Marriott La Jolla, following our recent participation at the East Coast edition in Boston. The conference serves as an ideal platform to engage with industry leaders on evolving trends in combination product development.

A key highlight at our tabletop exhibit is Molly^®, our flagship modular platform autoinjector with a proven record, supporting 20 combination products across 28+ indications. Designed for flexibility in design and manufacturing, Molly is also being produced at our North Charleston site—a major step in SHL Medical’s North American expansion. This highly automated site brings manufacturing closer to our partners, enhances supply chain responsiveness, and supports the growing demand for our autoinjectors with scalable, high-quality production.

Our North Charleston site works in tandem with our Deerfield Beach facility, forming an integrated infrastructure that supports key device development processes, including final assembly. Together, the two sites strengthen our global manufacturing network—spanning three continents—to provide our pharma partners with reliable and consistent delivery.

SHL Medical’s Customer Solutions Director, Vince Masciopinto, is also scheduled to speak at the conference on June 9 at 11:00 AM PDT. His presentation, “SHL Medical’s Alliance Management Program: Driving Innovation and Collaboration in the Drug Delivery Ecosystem”, will explore the strategic framework of our Alliance Management Program, which connects upstream and downstream partners, including primary container providers, CMOs/CDMOs, and technical service providers, into an integrated development and supply chain model. Attendees will gain insights into how this alliance-based approach has been applied to optimize SHL Medical’s established Molly platform and accelerate development of emerging solutions like our Maggie^® 5.0 autoinjector.
