SHL Medical to join the 2021 PDA Online Exhibition
SHL Medical is set to participate in the 2021 Parenteral Drug Association’s (PDA) annual Universe of Pre-filled Syringes and Injection Devices, which will be held virtually on October 5-6 via the PDA’s online platform. The online event will feature conference presentations, company Tech Talks, exhibitor pages, and a live chat function.
SHL’s Senior Program Manager Jonathan Kearns will be joined by Principal Mechanical Engineer Ed Halili of Amgen Inc. to give a conference presentation on a scale-up project involving the integration of multiple device products into a single platform. The speakers will also share their insights on the implementation of a digital control strategy to optimize the production processes. The presentation, titled “Applying a lifecycle approach to streamlining automated production utilizing a digitally enabled control strategy”, will be held during Session 1, Track B.
SHL’s Gilbert Fluetsch will discuss the benefits of a modular equipment platform strategy for different autoinjector projects during SHL’s Tech Talk.
