Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Logistic Specialist to coordinate all inbound receiving activities, outbound shipping activities, ensure efficient processes, maximize logistic productivity and system training. This role will also be responsible for supporting employees, coordinating logistical processes, ensuring the quality of goods, cycle counting and preparing relevant documentation.
Main Responsibilities
- Oversee the life cycle of products, including preparation, shipping and receiving
- Monitor entire process of inbound to outbound materials
- Coordinate and monitor the flow of goods and services from suppliers to customers
- Work within the team to support the development and implemention of logistics plans and processes to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery of goods and services
- Monitor and report on supply chain performance metrics, such as on-time delivery and cost savings
- Validate inventory levels and ensure accuracy of records
- Process customer orders and ensure timely delivery
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues
- Develop and maintain relationships with Buyer, Planners, Schedulers, Quality and couriers
- Perform weekly cycle count counts ensure to inventory availability
- Identify and provide coaching and training for logistics team
- Process and dispose expired materials
Skills and Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain or similar area, or equivalent experience.
- At least 6 years of logistics or relevant experience
- 5yrs SAP experience preferred
- Exceptional time management and organization skills
- Must have strong communication skills
- Must be very process oriented and maintain a constant vigilance towards process improvement by proposing new methods and technological/automated solutions
- Strong ability to work cross functional
- Problem solving and analytical skills
