Snr. Expert Logistics Quality & Process

The Senior Expert Logistics Process & Quality is responsible for aligning all logistics processes—internal and external—to business requirements, driving improvement plans in collaboration with global process development, and partnering with functions such as continuous improvement and quality. This role acts as the primary contact for escalated customer complaints related to logistics quality (e.g., transport, equipment, infrastructure, packaging damages), develops and implements corrective actions, and creates training plans to address recurring issues.

Main Responsibilites:

  • Align logistics processes (internal and external) with business requirements and global standards.
  • Lead and enable improvement initiatives in partnership with global process development, continuous improvement, and quality teams. 
  • Act as the “outside-in” window for escalated customer complaints regarding logistics quality, including transport, equipment, infrastructure, and packaging damages. § Investigate root causes of logistics quality issues and develop corrective and preventive action plans. 
  • Design and deliver training programs to address process gaps and recurring quality issues.
  • Support non-conformance reporting, including logging, follow-up, and resolution of logistics-related NCRs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure process adherence and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, dashboards, and reports to monitor logistics process and quality KPIs.
  • Conduct spot audits and process reviews to ensure compliance with working instructions and SOPs.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and drive improvements.
  • Perform other duties or project-related activities as assigned. 

Experience and Education:

  • Several years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or quality management. 
  • Strong knowledge of logistics processes, quality standards, and improvement methodologies.
  • Experience handling customer complaints and implementing corrective actions.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across functions.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or related field. 

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with global process development and continuous improvement frameworks. 

Physical Requirements: 

  • Mix of prolonged period at a desk but also ready to work extended period on the shop floor for process and gap analysis.
