(Senior) Strategy Specialist

Job Overview

As a key member of the CEO Office, the Strategy Specialist will support and lead a variety of corporate strategy initiatives and other CEO projects. In this role, the incumbent will be a key part in the development and oversight of the corporate strategic initiatives involving coordination of projects across senior management teams, various functions and locations. In order to support the business’ growth objectives and to strengthen the core business, the Strategy Specialist will be a key member in assessing and executing inorganic growth opportunities.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Project management of strategic and other CEO initiatives, from project scoping and planning, to monitoring and reporting on projects until completion
  • Create pitches and reports for Senior Management, Executive Team, and Board of Directors
  • Support the Head of CEO Office and Executive Team (MMT) in the corporate strategy formulation and implementation
  • Coordinate cross-functional project teams in the execution of projects, and improve the efficiency of cross-functional processes
  • Support Head of CEO Office in M&A activities end-to-end, incl. post-deal integration
  • Limited travel may be required

 

Minimum Requirements

  • Work experience of min 2 years in a corporate strategy position or in management consulting within the MedTech or Pharmaceuticals industry
  • Strong project management skills with a focus on cross-functional collaboration
  • Getting things done mentality, and ability to work independently in a flexible, fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Team player who can work with different stakeholders across levels
  • Ability to quickly assess complex problems, structure logically and solve with an analytical mindset
  • Professional working proficiency in English

 

Preferred Requirements:

  • Ability to building convincing narratives and delivering engaging presentations combined
  • Advanced Excel user (e.g business case modelling)
  • Professional working proficiency in German
