Senior FP&A Specialist

We are looking for a highly motivated, hands-on and self-confident personality with an independent working style and solid level of resilience. In the role of the Senior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Specialist, you will be responsible for the execution of quantitative and qualitative analysis, supporting the Global FP&A team. The role will be based in Zug, Switzerland, reporting into the Senior FP&A Manager.

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Support month-end close process and financial deck preparation for internal and external stakeholders
  • Lead the improvement or creation of existing and new financial process documentation
  • Support pricing data maintenance and accuracy in SAP ERP, first point of contact with supply chain for sales order entry and invoicing topics
  • Improves SAP ERP master data to achieve greater depth and accuracy in reporting
  • Prepare and maintain monthly overview of sales accruals
  • Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends, analyze variances and support gap closing measures
  • Provide solid data analyses to support ad-hoc reporting requests
  • Support yearly budgeting process
  • Support continued development of Budgeting, Financial Forecasting, Operating Plan and Modelling tools, or other initiatives as requested by the business or Group Finance.
  • If required, support due diligence activities
  • Support global “one team approach” at SHL FP&A and work closely with Team in TW, US, SWE with regard to technical project management, accounting and reporting
  • S/he will be involved in the global Initiative “Finance Excellence @ SHL” and support on Corporate Initiatives whenever required

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor or University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting or Engineering.
  • Min 5 years of relevant FP&A experience
  • “Storytelling” skills, being able to translate financial data into a management presentation
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills and solution-oriented mindset

  • Being responsible, resilient and stress resistant

 

Preferred qualifications

  • Strong know-how of SAP S4, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP BW or other BI systems
  • Flexibility related to changing requirements and conditions while ensuring efficiency
  • German and/or Mandarin are a plus
