What is a pen injector

Pen injectors are devices designed for medicines that are taken repeatedly over time. They usually hold a cartridge with multiple doses inside. With each use, the user typically attaches a needle, prepares the next dose (often by dialing or setting it), and injects subcutaneously supporting a repeatable routine across a treatment program. This is in contrast to autoinjectors, which contain a pre-filled container with a single, pre-set medication dose.
