SHL Medical will exhibit and speak in both podium and poster presentations at PDA 2022

SHL Medical is excited to announce its return in-person to the 2022 Parenteral Drug Association’s (PDA) annual Universe of Pre-filled Syringes and Injection Devices. The two-day event will be held on October 18-19 at Palm Springs, USA. SHL representatives will be present on-site at Booth #400 to interact with visitors and answer any inquiries related to its offerings.

One of the device solutions that will be featured in SHL’s booth this year is Maggie® autoinjectors. Built with our market-proven Needle Isolation Technology (NIT®), Maggie autoinjectors were developed to accommodate up to 3.0 mL injection volume. Fresh this year is the introduction of Maggie 5.0 – developed to facilitate injection volume traditionally only possible in on-body solutions.

Accompanying Maggie is our Molly® modular platform technology autoinjectors. Following the launch of Molly webpage and Molly white paper, this October, SHL teases an update in the Molly technology, focusing on enhancing patients’ injection experience via new customization options.

Visitors of our booth can also take a closer look at InsulCheck® DOSE – a connected device add-on for pen injectors, developed in collaboration with our partner, Innovation Zed and learn more about SHL’s digital healthcare. As the third-generation product from the InsulCheck family, DOSE is an integral part of SHL’s digital health ecosystem. Fully aware that connected healthcare is evolving fast and has great potential to answer unmet patient needs, SHL’s digital health initiative introduces the innovation partnership program. The co-development model allows pharmas to combine SHL’s technological capabilities and their clinical innovations to enable legacy autoinjectors to mature into the digital space with connected features, interoperable capabilities, and supportive digital ecosystem.

This year, SHL will also speak for PDA’s podium and poster presentations. For full list of our speakers and presentation topics, please refer to the table below.
