Establishment of SHL Advantec brings advancements to medical device manufacturing

SHL Advantec’s Gilbert Fluetsch – Vice-President of Commercial and Technical Services – talks about the establishment of
the new manufacturing equipment sub-group and the advantages it brings to SHL Medical’s global supply strategy in the ONdrugDelivery July issue.

Gilbert explains how the sub-group comes as an extended entity of SHL Medical’s in-house tooling and automation capabilities with the addition of LCA Automation, SMC Mould Innovation, and Superior Tooling from previous acquisitions. The acquisitions and establishment of SHL Advantec are part of SHL Medical’s strategic move to enhance its global network of advanced production capabilities for medical device manufacturing, including the Molly autoinjector production.
