SHL Medical and GRAM team up to discuss cartridge-based autoinjector development.

SHL Medical will join Grand River Aseptic Manufacturing (GRAM) on August 6 for a live virtual webinar hosted by Endpoints News as part of Manufacturing Day 2025.

The two companies have forged a strategic collaboration through SHL Medical’s Alliance Management program to support cartridge-based delivery, including integrated fill-finish services for the Maggie® 5.0 mL autoinjector, a cartridge-based autoinjector for large-volume subcutaneous delivery.

Building on this collaboration, the 35-minute session, titled, “Key Factors, Critical Insights, and Essential Expertise for Selecting a Cartridge-Based Drug Delivery Device,” will feature SHL Medical’s Customer Solutions Director, Vince Masciopinto and GRAM’s Director of Drug Product Manufacturing, Tyler BeVier.

Together they will explore:

• Key considerations in selecting the right primary container for combination product development
• The nuances of cartridge filling for autoinjectors
• The advantages of choosing an existing drug delivery solution with established infrastructure for large-volume subcutaneous injection
• Insights from SHL Medical-GRAM partnership
• Critical factors to evaluate when choosing between proprietary and platform-based delivery approaches for large-volume delivery

As the industry adapts to the growing demand for large-volume biologics, this session will offer insights into autoinjector selection, fill-finish process optimization, and CDMO collaboration strategies.

Register now to secure your spot and gain real-world insights from leaders at the forefront of combination product development.
